During this time you may be unable to log in or send any email. Email you receive will arrive in your inbox with some delay after we're back.

We understand that the inability to access your mail may inconvenience you and will therefore have multiple engineers standing by to keep the disruption to a minimum. Instability sending & receiving email
Resolved - A configuration issue caused instability for sending and receiving email. The issue was resolved a few minutes ago and the system was affected for almost an hour, from 09:30 AM UTC to 10:30 AM UTC. That's 05:30 AM to 06:30 AM New York time. Any mail that arrived during the instability should get retried or delivered soon if it hasn't already. If you were not able to send an email, then you can try again now and it should work. We're sorry for the inconvenience!

During this time you may experience intermittent and brief connection errors for the webmail (mail.startmail.com), IMAP and SMTP submission services. When you experience errors, please try again after a minute.

You may also be logged out of the webmail. If that happens then you can log back in and continue doing what you were doing.

We expect the impact on our service overall to be noticeable for webmail users, and minimal for IMAP users. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. In case you have any questions regarding this maintenance, please do not hesitate to contact our support team at support@startmail.com.
